Teams are invited to sign up for our Grass Volleyball, Basketball, 3v3 Soccer Tournaments, or Softball. Events will be held at the Thayne Community Center park and ball fields located at 250 Van Noy Ave., Thayne, Wyoming.
Individuals are invited to sign up, if they do not already have a team. If enough individual players register for a specific sport, teams will be formed, and participants will be notified before the event. If there are not enough individuals to form a team, registration fees will be refunded by July 1, 2026.
Soccer 3 v 3: Check-in is to be determined based on the number of teams. SIX is the maximum number of players on a team; three field players at one time. There are no goalkeepers. Games shall consist of two 10-minute halves separated by a two-minute halftime period. Games tied after regulation play shall end in a tie. Except for the playoffs, this will be a 3-minute golden goal period followed by a shootout. In pool play, ties between two or more teams will be broken by 1 – head-to-head results between tied teams (2 teams only); 2- goal difference in pool play; 3- fewest goals against in pool play; 4-goals scored. If teams are still tied after all tiebreakers, the system will automatically break the tie by a system-generated coin flip.
Grass Coed Volleyball Tournament: Check-in is to be determined based on the number of teams. Teams can have more women than men, but not more men than women. Divisions will participate in pool play, followed by a single-elimination or double-elimination tournament (depending on the number of teams). The pool play match will be best of 3 games to 25 with rally scoring. Cap at 27 or 17. No cap on elimination tournament.
Basketball 3 v 3:
Every participant will need to sign a waiver before playing the first game. The waiver will be given at check-in. (Please email thaynerec@silverstar.com to have a waiver sent to you and then bring to check-in. A set of rules will be sent to the email address listed in the registration.
Softball: Check-in is to be determined based on the number of teams. Teams can have more women than men, but not more men than women.
